Introduction to Seventh Grade

At Christ the Teacher Catholic School, seventh grade students continue on their journey of faith as they grow in their understanding of Jesus and the New Testament.  At this point in their lives, students typically begin moving toward greater independence.  Therefore, Middle School is an important time in the development of their spiritual life, personal values, and social conscience.  Our goal is to help students in the seventh grade come to see Jesus as their model while integrating their faith into their daily lives.

Along with this focus on faith development, seventh grade marks the beginning of a two-year period of preparation for high school.  Students are encouraged to work toward growth in personal responsibility, independent study habits, time management skills, and moral decision-making, all of which will help them achieve success in high school and beyond.
